We are one of the five leading Turkish companies that produce and export hand made carpets. Our annual production capacity is over 200.000,00 square meters; 36% of which are handmade kilims, and 64% are handmade carpets. We have been actively participating in this sector for over 30 years. In all these years, we have dispersed our organisation in 20.000 villages all over Turkey. Our company has given jobs to thousands of people.

• Era's founder's position in Turkey!

Erdogan ILDIZ, the founder of Era carpets and Kilims, had started this business during his college years. Since then, ILDIZ group of companies have developed and took its position in many industrial areas. The group of companies have developed in 3 major industries. These are;

Handmade carpets and kilims: production, washing, sun testing, drying and repairs, wholesaling and retailing, exportation of the oriental Turkish handmade carpets and kilims.

Construction: we have been mainly working with light weight roof covering materials.

Food-stuff: By means of Era carpet and kilims, we have been working in 20,000 villages, from where we have been collecting a large variety of agricultural and other food products and then exporting them.

Erdogan ILDIZ has been the president of Turkish Carpet Foundation and the vice president of Turkish carpet exporters Union. Mr ILDIZ has dedicated himself to the continuity of the Turkish carpet art. Mr. ILDIZ's progressive and colorfull personality created an unforgettable name in this industry. Each year, his new creations are being added to the traditional Turkish collections.
